About PriceLetter

PriceLetter collects building-product manufacturer price-increase announcements in one searchable place: roofing, HVAC, plumbing & PVF, electrical, drywall & interiors, insulation, siding, windows, fencing, pool, flooring, door hardware and fire-protection products. Canadian price notices are tagged "Canada pricing". Contractors, estimators and buyers use it to see what's going up, by how much, and when, before they quote a job.

How it works

• Every day, an automated job re-checks public price-notice pages from distributors and the trade press, politely (identified user-agent, robots.txt respected, crawl-delays honored).
• New letters are read automatically and key fields are extracted: brand, products, stated increase, effective date. If a field isn't stated, we leave it blank. We never guess.
• Duplicate postings of the same letter (same brand and effective date) are merged, and every source is linked.
